So it may take me a few entries (i.e. days) to get our pictures up. It was great to finally see Rome and as expected it was exhausting trying to see it in just three days. We stayed in a great apartment just 2 blocks from the Colosseum. The food near our place was great and it was very convenient to be right near a metro stop.
Our first day we checked out the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. On Sunday we saw "all the other sites" you need to see when you're in Rome: The Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, Piazza Navona, etc. And we spent our last day touring the Vatican City before catching an evening flight home.
