A busy week

Last week was a busy, but entertaining week for us. After the Rolling Stones concert on Monday night, we headed into Frankfurt on Wednesday for sushi. Danielle and I took the train in early to walk around. During our walk we came across this old section of Frankfurt:

Finding the shopping in Frankfurt was admittedly much easier than finding sushi. August is well known to be the favorite vacation time of Europeans and we found this out the hard way. We tried 3 different sushi restaurants until we found one that was open. By the end of the night we found ourselves eating at a hibachi restaurant instead of a sushi restaurant, but a good time was had by all. Thursday was bowling at city bowl with our sponsor Dave and some of his friends. Friday was the Wine Fest in Wiesbaden and Saturday was the Wine Fest in Rudesheim. As you can tell in the summer here you are never without a wine fest. We've had some great wines too.

Sunday we went biking with Danielle and Jonathan to Eltville for lunch. We'd have taken pictures but we left our camera at home and Jonathan left his battery in the charger :) Take our word for it the ride was beautiful.
